Invest in What Works

When you find something that looks good on your bod—just stick with it. If plain ol' bootcut jeans make your legs look great, don't feel the need to toss them when everyone else starts wearing jeggings. Invest in those basics and then pair them with trendier items to keep them looking fresh.

Stick to One Wow-Worthy Accessory

As we all know, the accessories can make the outfit, but the number-one mistake women make when adding extras is overdoing it. Do what Michelle does and choose one over-the-top piece like a chunky necklace, an awesome metallic belt, or head-turning heels. You'll stand out without looking like a Christmas tree.
When In Doubt, Wear Red

This shade is the equivalent of a guy wearing a power suit. It gets everyone's attention and shows that you're running the show. Oh, and did we also mention that a study found the color red to be the one that most attracts men?

Test Drive Your Clothes

Please remember that: the less you're thinking about your clothes, the better they will look on you. So try out a look before wearing it to an interview or first date. Hang around your place in the outfit for an hour or run some errands. If you're constantly making adjustments (pulling down the skirt, checking to make sure your bra strap isn't showing, etc.), find another outfit.

Sharing those look-sexy secrets can help you make up easily, and sometimes you should be youself not just listening others.

Dress Appropriately for Formal or Informal Dress as a Girl

There are so many types of dance, it could be formal, informal, or a themed dance. At first, you should understand that a formal dance is the complete opposite of an informal one. If you are not sure what to wear, ask someone who knows. If you are sure that it is a formal dance, then you can choose the formal dress, some guidelines below.
formal dress
In a formal dance, you will need a formal dress or a fancy blouse with a skirt or dress slacks. Usually formal dress meams a gown or modest cocktail dress. If you are going with a date, try to coordinate colors; for example: if the boy were to wear a black suit with a red tie, you could wear a red dress. Also, put on some heels. If your feel get tired easily, instead with a nice shoe such as a flat. The school will post a list of attire that can and cannot be worn.
For hair and makeup, a formal dance means that you push the boat out a little bit. Wear more makeup, and make your hair really different and special. Usually girls go to the beauty parlor for a formal hairdo, or have someone create a different style for them at home.

Informal means less dressy, but you still want to look different from your everyday clothes. You could also wear some shorts, as dances get really hot. Primp a little bit; this isn't just a regular school day, it's a dance! Wear nice, well-fitting dark wash jeans with an appropriate but slightly dressy top and comfy, cute shoes. Just keep it appropriate! In addition, you can wear leggings or hardtails, with a dress top and dangling jewelry. You can also wear summer dresses. These are typically short (knee-length or higher) and made of dyed cloth, and can be considered casual.
In the informal dance, don't be afraid to try something different. Remember that a dance is a special event, and when you enter, you want everyone to look at you and make you feel as if you are the center of attention.
